I am your host Brother Henry Cotton, Jr. and I am also the Pastor of the SJMBC. Welcome to our Podcast. The topic for our Podcast today is:
“HOW IMPORTANT IS THE WORD OF GOD TO YOU WHEN IT COMES TO . . . KNOWING THAT GOD IS THINKING ABOUT YOU?”
There are many people who believe that GOD is unattainable; they believe that GOD is just out there doing His thing . . . taking care of the world and stuff. I believe that is part of the reason why you hear a lot of people refer to “The Universe” when they speak of supernatural things (expound).
Because of this type of belief, many people that God does not have time to think about them. I am going to just bring up a couple of scriptures to see if they will give you a little more insight to how GOD operates when it comes to individuals.
“But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV)
“And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will. Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:” Acts 13:22-23 (KJV)
You see, GOD is thinking about YOU! Yes, with everything that GOD is doing God does take the time to think about us (expound and conclude).
