I am your host Brother Henry Cotton, Jr. and I am also the Pastor of the SJMBC. Welcome to Podcast number 12. The topic for our Podcast today is:
“HOW IMPORTANT IS THE WORD OF GOD TO YOU WHEN IT COMES TO . . . “Following the world’s lead when it comes to Treating Fellow Believers?”
How many of you think that it is funny how people who are not Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are quick to tell proclaiming Believers how they are supposed to conduct themselves? They will tell Christians where they should and shouldn’t go. They will tell Christians how they are supposed to be treated by them, and how they are supposed to treat one another. They will tell Christians what they are supposed to say, how they are and are not supposed to say it; and all the while basing their decisions on the virtues, morals, majority of people, and laws of the people and the land.
The Lord has not told Believers to disregard the laws of the land. But when the laws of the land venture into the laws of GOD (Spiritual), this where decisions have to be made. There are laws that “ALLOW” people to do things (like drink and have sex), and there are laws that DEMAND that people do certain things ( like Daniel and his friends;) Let us look at what the Holy Bible has to say in Romans chapters 7-8 (Expound).
